Wanted – High-spec 13″ – 15” laptop

Sorry mate, but £1,000 is the max I can stretch to at the moment…

Also, cheers for the offer to drop it off personally but I’m probably going to be up around London at the end of December and was looking to get a replacement laptop sooner, as this thing I’m working on is literally falling apart in my hands lol.

Not sure how you feel about posting it at £1,000 inc P&P?

Wanted – CPU, mainboard and RAM – i5 / i7 Haswell or higher

[EDIT – 980TI NOW SOURCED, ONLY LOOKING FOR CPU / GPU / MAINBOARD]

Hi all!

I had no luck sourcing the hardware I was looking for over Black Friday (like an idiot I thought there may have been some drops on Coffee Lake but no good).

I’ve since realised that what with Ryzen 2 out early next year, and Coffee Lake probably going to drop in price once supplies improve, I’ll do what I normally do and aim a couple of generations before, because I’m too impatient to wait that long, and I reckon older hardware will depreciate less.

I’m on i5 2500K @ 4.2GHz with a 780Ti at the moment, and want to feel a *significant* improvement @ 1440p since my main monitor is that resolution.

I looked at Ryzen (which has been at good prices) but I’ve been stung by being an ‘early adopter’ on AMD / ATI stuff before, and while I know it’s been out for a while, I’m still holding off until clock-speeds improve, and ideally any niggles are worked out.

So – anyone got anything? I’d prefer K series Intel chips with overclocking friendly (Z series) motherboards. For graphics 980Ti seems like it’ll give me the performance uplift I need without paying 1070 prices – I did own a highly overclocked 980 (non-Ti) in the past and to be honest didn’t feel it was a big enough jump up from 780.

Hi, back for my last attempt to get hold of your video card :)

Looking at your estimate of £350 from eBay have you considered the fees. I have checked this and by my calculations, using an online website, if you sold it there for £350 + £11 postage you would net £301.60 after posting.

So, one last attempt to buy it from you at £311 delivered by RMSD with £100 upfront and the balance on receipt/testing.

Edit, sorry going to withdraw from your sale, found a video card elsewhere.
