This week I bought a laptop from @Neal85 which he was selling. The laptop is exactly as described in his original thread (which you can find here), I got great service from him and everything was good.
(Un)fortunately a lot changes in a few days! I’ve got a new client where I need to be in the office a few times a week and they’ve no monitors available as all their stuff has been sent to new homeworkers. So I either take my own monitor in or I’m going to have to get a laptop with a bigger screen.
This is the current £1799 MacBook Pro model, so its the one with the 10th gen Intel, quad core CPU (more efficient, powerful & with better integrated Iris graphics). It also has four thunderbolt 3 (usb-c) ports rather than 2 on the base model which is a great feature as you can plug in anything you want to any port, on either side.
Its also got 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD.
Its in as-new condition, with all accessories, original box, even the cellophane wrapper on the laptop and the bit of tissue paper to protect the screen.
The machine was bought from Amazon UK in July 2020. I have a copy of the receipt from Neal and all you need to do when you get the laptop is validate the purchase online via the Apple serial number checker which will register the warranty (which is global). I didn’t get round to doing this myself.
I’ve re-used Neal’s pics for this, hope you don’t mind @Neal85
I paid £1375 for this, so am looking for £1300 including delivery. I can post by 48 hour insured courier from Monday.
I only have 12/13 feedback but much of that is for items like this laptop due to the job I do and also the fact I’m a bit of a nerd for kit.
