For Sale – Mac Mini (2011) i5, 16G RAM, 120gb ssd + 500gb hd

Selling our mac mini as we no longer need it

It’s in decent nic given it’s age, has a few little marks on it as you’d expect

Has currently got Catalina on, which runs fine with 16gb ram and the ssd set as the bootdisk despite it not being ‘officially supported’. I can happly restore to whatever version the machine shipped with fi the buyer prefers.

This is one of the last easily upgradable mac mini’s, and with the TB port supporting mini display you can get a lovely 2560×1600 resolution.

Delivery is not included, I do not have the box readily available, and will be securely packaged up prior to delivery and only sent using royal mail insured

For Sale – Razer Blade 14 (2017) with 1TB Samsung SSD Upgrade

Razer Blade 14 (2017)

My previous work laptop that I no longer require. Has served me well.

It was dropped once very early in its life (1H2017), so it has a dink on the front-right corner (shown in pictures). This hasn’t affected its function in any way.

It has a dbrand skin on the top, all is good underneath – it was added to cover the glowing green logo as it was used in a professional environment and in front of clients.

Spec:
1TB Samsung 960 EVO
Intel Core i7-7700HQ
16GB DDR4
Intel HD630 iGPU
Nvidia GTX1060 dGPU

I’ve done a quick search and going by the results on ebay and refurbished units elsewhere, along with the mild chassis damage, my asking price is £800

Prepare for CCNP, CCIE ENCOR 350-401 with this guide preview

Although the Cisco Certified Network Professional track no longer has prerequisite exams, most CCNP exams still require an understanding of the networking topics found in the reworked Cisco Certified Network Associate, or CCNA, exam.

For the CCNP and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) ENCOR 350-401 exam, a significant portion of the material includes information from the new CCNA exam. Authors Ramiro Garza Rios, David Hucaby, Brad Edgeworth and Jason Gooley cover both the old and new material in their guidebook CCNP and CCIE ENCOR 350-401 Official Cert Guide, which is available now.

The ENCOR 350-401 exam — which stands for Enterprise Core — particularly emphasizes Cisco’s move from uncommon, advanced capabilities to the networking requirements for current job roles.

Below is an excerpt from the guide: Chapter 6, “IP Routing Essentials.” This chapter covers fundamental routing protocols — many of which have remained from when the authors themselves began to study for Cisco certification exams.

When Edgeworth first studied for the Cisco certification exams, he said understanding how routers think and operate was the most challenging part. As an author, he has tried to write chapters in a way that provides in-depth perspective, yet also shows how technologies and protocols work within configurations. Edgeworth suggested CCNP and CCIE ENCOR 350-401 hopefuls participate in labs to put the concepts they learn from books into practice.

Gooley, on the other hand, found unstructured, solo studying the most challenging, saying he felt alone when he first started studying for his Cisco certifications. He suggested that hopefuls should lean on the community, whether that’s in person or through social media. People can hold each other accountable for studying and readers can reach out to the authors themselves if they have questions.

In addition to potentially challenging new topics in the CCNP and CCIE ENCOR 350-401 exam — such as programmability and software-defined WAN — Edgeworth and Gooley said they are pleased with how relevant the ENCOR 350-401 exam is to current job roles. CCNP and CCIE hopefuls can expect to learn and solidify skills they use daily at their jobs, including the IP routing fundamentals.

Edgeworth said this chapter covers many routing essentials, such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) — topics the new CCNA exam also includes. The chapter delves into fundamental knowledge network engineers need for jobs and explores routing essentials in a vendor-agnostic way, as OSPF is OSPF and BGP is BGP regardless of which vendor platform an engineer uses, according to Edgeworth.

For Trade – Hp envy x360 2 in 1 laptop

So bough this for uni, got rid of a cheapie hp gaming laptop for this smaller foot print, and longer battery life.

Im finding the keys to crampt on it and never realised how much i miss the keypad with the numbers on it…. and i cant game the same on this. So long shot but looking to see if anyone wants to trade for something that can game on,and has fairly decent battery life.

This is pretty much mint, only used a handful of times, still got the box and everything bough from currys maybe 4-5 months ago i can find the purchase date if needed . Specs in the link below or pic below.

HP ENVY x360 – 13-ag0502sa Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

Will mention 3 things about the machine as they are bed bugs with myself but apparently not faults as i spoke with hp

1. Battery is no where near there suggested 11 hour mark, really like to see the settings they use for that. I use it on a Monday and thats about it, lasts about 3.5 – 4.5 hours and that is coding and compiling, office, spoitfy , chrome and discord open, full brightness on wifi with Bluetooth headphones.

2. The touchpad wont scroll, it did and then windows done an update and now it wont, hp tell me its a driver issue from the windows update, and gave me steps to rectify it but i still cant figure it out, im sure someone whos better with stubborn drives can figure it out, you can use the touch screen and page up and down buttons as well as arrow keys and the scroll bar as alternatives.

3. I dont think the laptop is fully flat, from what i read in a some reviews a few other people have complained about this as well, when on some surfaces the laptop is elivated, so it makes it seem like one corner is lifting, apparently this is to do with the rubber feet running along the bottom of the laptop not being of great quality and being uneven, but hp assure me its not bent and will send out replacement strips if i want (however they would just be the same as the ones on there so i left it at that)

But on some surfaces i feel the laptop rocks slightly, its hard to explain ill make a video and put it up. Others it seems perfectly flat ill show on the video
