Wanted – Apple Magic Trackpad or attachment thingy

Still looking for MT2

re sofa, what the reviews have said is the mt1 is hinged so when you press down on it, most of the force goes through two feet. On a sofa or soft surface, the two feet move down a bit so you don’t get the click as easily.

With the mt2, there’s no hinge, only a haptic clicker, so when you press down on a soft surface, the force is spread over the entire bottom of the mt2, so getting a click is more similar to when the mt2 is on a table or hard surface.

ymmv

Wanted – Apple Magic Trackpad or attachment thingy

Oh dear I just bought exactly the same keyboard on here for £30 a few days ago, see this thread

For Sale – Apple-Wireless-Keyboard-A1314 £30

Am v tempted to buy yours as well as it’s a lovely keyboard and I fancy one for the macbook too, but that would mean owning three of them and I don’t think the WAG would approve…

Think I have to go for the Magic Trackpad 2 that JacktheLad posted because it’s for sofa use and apparently your Magic Trackpad 1 doesn’t work well on the sofa.

Does your henge dock work with the Magic Trackpad 2? If so I’ll come to your thread and make an offer once Jack and I have settled our business.
