Wanted – NUC or other SFF PC

I can highly recommened something like this

Its only £95, comes with a full Pro version of Windows 10 and works well for my media/KODI streaming duties (local media from gigabit network)

I was a little concerned at fierst as it didn’t have Gigabit ethernet but in all honesty I am streaming full uncompressed BR rips from my server with ease and its hasnt blinked. Definitely one of my more savvyPC purchases over the years

It has the same footprint as an Apple TV box but is half the thickness so it can be hidden away of site. In another room I’ve had a Gigabyte Brix 2805 running for a few years, just for KODI duties again, but this runs just as well but worked out at about half of the price (once I added hard drive and memory to the barebones box I bought). Yes it doesnt have a lot of local storage, but thats easy to upgrade with either a decent capacity micro SD card OR you can attached an external USB hard drive via a USB port so you get lots of speed there….

Dont get me wrong, its not likely to run any amazing games, but as a mini desktop computer, so far, there isnt much I’ve found that it doesnt do, and when my kdis need a computer for homework, this will be something I look at for them.

Either weay, something worth you taking a look at.
